About IntaPeople

In 1994, two technology contractors saw a gap in the market for a technical recruitment agency in South Wales. Based on their own poor experiences with agencies IntaPeople's foundation has always been delivering exceptional customer service.

IntaPeople is more than just an IT and engineering recruitment agency; they are passionate about making a difference.

Their desire to create meaningful relationships has allowed us to transform thousands of careers and support the growth of UK businesses for 25 years.

Based in Cardiff since 1994, they have outlasted multiple recessions and market shifts. This is due to their commitment to excellence and industry knowledge, which flows through everything they do.

The experienced recruiters are trained to be experts in their field, focusing on vertical markets including software development, life sciences, cybersecurity, engineering, and IT infrastructure. 25 years on, the tech recruitment world has changed and advanced to keep up with the markets that IntaPeople serves but their commitment to excellence has remained consistent.

The Challenge

As a company that prides itself on delivering exceptional levels of customer service, finding a supplier that aligned with IntaPeople's beliefs was proving to be a challenge. Faced with spiralling costs and faltering customer service delivered by their current leased line supplier, it was clear that IntaPeople needed a change.

Alongside this their incumbent system was struggling to deliver the speeds and functionality that IntaPeople required, particularly when the Pandemic struck and a rapid move to remote working was required.

The Solution

After speaking to Wavenet a simple yet effective solution was recommended, designed to give them high-speed connectivity but also remote working capabilities to support their 20-strong team.

Reconfiguration of IntaPeople's existing Mitel system meant they could effectively work remotely without the need for expensive new equipment - keeping their recruiters and customers connected when access to the offices was restricted.

The addition of new, faster, leased lines and SIP trunks further improved IntaPeople's connectivity. Providing them with a reliable and robust connection suitable for handling high volumes of calls and providing them with unrivalled reliability and guaranteed speeds. SIP also provides IntaPeople with a future-proof means of communication, providing a replacement for traditional ISDN well ahead of the 2025 switch-off.

The Results

Through our work together IntaPeople have been able to take advantage of the following results;

Time Savings:  With a dedicated account manager and one point of contact, making changes or getting support is quick and easy.

Remote working capabilities: Remote working is now a viable option for all the team, providing them with the necessary business continuity throughout the pandemic and beyond allowing the team to embrace the hybrid-working model of the future.

Cost Savings: A modernised telephony solution provides cost savings, further enhanced by the use of leased lines and no complex costly onsite equipment. SIP also provides the next step in IntaPeoples move to the full-fibre future.

Usability: Between their on-site expertise managing/configuring the Mitel system and support from Wavenet’s engineers when required, IntaPeople has an agile and flexible solution in which they can easily adapt to fit the changing needs of their business.

We have worked with Wavenet for a number of years (having bought our Mitel telephone system from them in 2013). The account management and support are second to none and any issues/faults are resolved quickly.

Our account manager has always been there to recommend and tailor the right solution for our business (not just to sell us the latest system to be released) and the support team have helped us to re-configure our equipment to make the most of all the features on offer and on the rare occasions we have raised a fault, the problem was resolved (or hardware replaced) with the absolute bare minimum in downtime."
