About Cooper Parry

Cooper Parry is the number one firm of accountants and business advisers in the Midlands working with privately owned businesses to help them grow, become more tax efficient, get up to speed with their IT and much more.

Already using Microsoft Teams internally for messaging and file-sharing they could see the benefits of using TeamsLink with Wavenet to host their telephony. With several offices around the UK, TeamsLink was initially showcased in their biggest office, followed by a full rollout across all other locations around the UK.

The Challenge

Cooper Parry was previously using on-premise Skype for Business but was looking for a fully managed service with additional functionality. The team at Cooper Parry wanted to remove onsite servers, move to a cloud-hosted solution, and a provider with outstanding service and support. Ultimately reducing their large overheads and eliminating the hassle of running and managing the system themselves, whilst increasing the uptime of the platform.

The Solution

Cooper Parry was already using Microsoft Teams for internal file sharing and messaging. Moving to TeamsLink with Wavenet meant that they were able to expand on the platform, unifying all their communications within Microsoft Teams. Wavenet’s cloud-hosted platform provided many more features than going to Microsoft directly, with less internal management, lower overheads and much more freedom.

With seamless Office 365 integration Cooper Parry use Teams for many of their front and back-office functions and all of their front and back end telephony requirements including complex routing for their 24/7 Contact Centre. Wavenet’s unique TeamsLink management portal allows real-time management, which lets Cooper Parry observe trends, evaluate the usage and productivity of its employees, plus monitor costs.

Wavenet’s dedicated provisioning team ensured a smooth and successful deployment with zero downtime, no costly start-up costs or infrastructure changes. Throughout initial conversations, to the implementation of TeamsLink Cooper Parry received ongoing support from Wavenet. Premium service is built into every level of delivery at Wavenet

Wavenet’s Support and Provisioning Engineers are extremely knowledgeable and have provided bespoke on-site portal and admin training for the team at Cooper Parry. User training with the team was imperative to ensure that all of the features within TeamsLink were fully utilised.

Cooper Parry’s showcase office in Castle Donington is their biggest, with several more across the UK, in Birmingham, Bristol and London. The rollout saw 450 users on the Teams platform, with over 100 using telephony in TeamsLink with Wavenet. Staff are using Plantronics Blackwire headsets, allowing them to comfortably work on a variety of devices.

Over 350 corporate Apple mobile phones have been issued to staff with the Microsoft Teams app enabled. All 100 users who are telephony users in Teams will be benefiting from the advanced telephony functionality within the teams app. Users will be able to transfer calls from other devices, share documents in meetings, send audio messages in chat as well as many more features. The Teams mobile app will allow users to work flexibly and, on the go. The mobile app is just as crucial for Teams users as the desktop app.

Their office features several meetings rooms, breakout areas and conferencing spaces, ranging from single-person booths to rooms with space for up to 20 people. Each of these areas houses a TV screen with inputs for laptops, ensuring their working spaces are flexible and optimised for hot-desking and collaboration.

TeamsLink with Wavenet allows staff to talk, instant message, share files, collaborate and video call each other across a multitude of devices, such as laptops, PCs, tablets and smartphones. By having several communication tools at their disposal, employees can work as a single cohesive unit, regardless of their location. Cooper Parry has been able to improve efficiency within the workplace by unifying all their communications onto one platform.
