Data backup and replication services to keep your data safe wherever it resides.

Our backup and replication services protect your data - anywhere!

The modern mix of IT environments and endpoints within every organisation has made it particularly challenging for IT teams to identify the most business-critical data and keep it safe.

We’re a well-established provider of backup and replication services, and we have unrivalled experience in delivering these services with full recovery solutions. Our broad technology experience enables us to deliver a unique technology-agnostic approach, partnering closely with many leading vendors, to make sure the solution we deliver is the right one, for you. This breadth and flexibility mean that we can simplify all your data protection by including a mix of replication and backup services and blending live and archive technologies, to make sure all your data is protected, relative to its importance. This naturally also gives you tangible cost and efficiency savings – as well as peace of mind and compliance.

Our comprehensive range of support options allows you the flexibility to choose solution only, co-managed, fully managed or something bespoke to your business.

Software as a Service (SaaS)

Software as a Service (SaaS) are booming, and it’s not unusual for different departments to use SaaS applications that fall under the radar of the IT team. We can help you identify the full extent of SaaS applications used within your organisation and highlight those that are unprotected. The next steps are identifying the risks and assessing the level of protection required, closely followed by remediation to provide the appropriate protection. Rest assured, we can back up all your SaaS applications to a secure immutable location and apply lesser or greater protection as appropriate to the data in question, so that your solution is cost-effective and delivers what you need to meet your data protection obligations and reduce any impact arising from a service interruption.

Physical servers

Most organisations have moved to a virtualised environment, but it’s not uncommon for legacy IT servers to remain, performing important or even critical functions. Sometimes this is due to an in-house skills shortage or no natural replacement for legacy applications to upgrade or migrate to. We have extensive experience across physical hardware far beyond just Windows and Linux - whether you have an IBM I or P-Series, HP-UX, DEC VAX, Solaris servers, or a high value Oracle system for example. Nothing will surprise us; we can protect almost any physical servers using backup or replication to ensure you achieve minimal data loss in the event of an outage.

Virtual environments

There are other factors to consider when you need to protect a virtual or cloud environment, such as what dependencies do the systems have on one another? Do they pass data between them? Do they need to be protected the same way, and at the same time? Dependency mapping has become necessary with the move to virtualised solutions and is often a critical element to assessing your backup or replication requirements.

We have the tools and infrastructure to protect any current virtualised environment, including a high spec VMWare/Hyper-V or Proxmox platform or an open-source platform – and our virtual protection solutions extend to cover your private hosted clouds too, so we do not limit you to where you need to be running, before we can protect you.

cloud hosting

Public cloud

Our suite of backup and replication protection tools covers public cloud providers including Azure, AWS and CGP. We will start with a professional assessment of your current level of protection and from there, either build on what you have, working alongside the provider’s own in-built tools, or implement an alternative solution to meet your specific recovery point and recovery time objectives (RTO and RPO). And, it doesn’t matter if you have a mixed environment that spans across different cloud platforms, we can treat it as one protection domain, and also help move you from cloud to cloud and recover you across platforms if required, ensuring regulatory compliance is upheld when re-instating your systems outside of your current provider.

Our services can protect your public cloud workloads with backup and replication tools that deliver recovery point objectives (RPO) within seconds, keeping the data loss and impact to the business to a minimum, should there be any data centre issues.

Audio-visual

We make it easy for you to keep track of what you’re protecting and how, via a single view across all the backup and replication resources that we deliver.

Data

Backup or replication or both?

We can work with you to help you to put a value on your data, assess the dependencies and from there, recommend the best approach. We’ll also look at your data integrity requirements to assess whether backup alone is sufficient, or if we need to include some replication to shorten your recovery points.

Managed Protection

We can extend the value our backup and replication solutions deliver, by providing them as a managed service, or take over management of your current protection if we believe we can add the right value, and you don’t have internal capabilities or resources available, or we can replace your tooling and manage your protection with the tools we use.
