Empowering sustainability through technology

Our ESG Mission

At Wavenet, we leverage technology to drive sustainable and responsible business practices. Our ESG mission is to harness the power of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and data-driven innovation to meet environmental, social, and governance (ESG) challenges.

We also aim to help our customers reduce their emissions by utilising technology to address emissions generated across their broader operations. Beyond delivering lower-carbon technology, we focus on solutions like IoT that can significantly reduce emissions across our customers' businesses.

Our long-term ESG vision is to be recognised for delivering tech-driven solutions that reduce carbon footprints, promote inclusivity, and uphold the highest standards of governance – all while empowering our customers to meet their own ESG objectives.

Our ESG strategy

Wavenet acquired Daisy in 2024, uniting two organisations with strong sustainability records. We are developing a unified ESG strategy, which will be published in 2025. This will outline our high standards and commitments, building a strong foundation for sustainable growth.

As a leading MSP, our ESG strategy revolves around three key pillars that guide every part of our business:

Environmental: technology for net-zero

Sustainability is at the core of our operations. We use cloud services, energy-efficient data centres, intelligent IT systems to reduce our carbon footprint. These initiatives not only help us meet our environmental targets but also enable our customers and partners to achieve their own net-zero goals.

Social: community support & employee wellbeing

Our colleagues and the communities we serve are fundamental to our success. We support initiatives that enhance wellbeing, champion diversity, and drive social impact, empowering our team to make a difference. Sustainability remains central to our business, with our ESG approach embedded across the organisation, ensuring all colleagues can contribute meaningfully.

Our ESG journey so far

Since integrating ESG principles into our core business, we have made great strides in reducing our environmental footprint and increasing our positive social impact. Our efforts are not just about meeting standards but about creating a lasting legacy of sustainability and responsibility.

Key ESG highlights for 2024 include maintaining our Ecovadis Gold certification, which reflects achievements in areas such as the environment, business ethics, human rights, and sustainable procurement, showcasing a holistic sustainability focus.

Additionally, we won the Green Shoots Award at the CRN Sustainability in Tech Awards, achieved Great Place to Work certification, and were recognised as one of the UK's Best Workplaces in Tech.
