Data recovery

When it comes to data recovery, we can recover files, services, or entire sites from anywhere to anywhere. This means that your data doesn’t need to be recovered to the same platform or physical location, we can recover to where you need it at the time and reconnect you and your users from there, whether your data is in SaaS, physical servers, virtual servers, public or private cloud.

Flexible delivery options

Having recovered your environment, we can deliver it to a location of your choice, either virtually, or physically, using our ship-to-site and mobile recovery services.

Ship-to-site (kit to site)

We can hold physical stock of your critical systems ready to ship to you when things go wrong. This service is sometimes called ship-to-site or relocatable recovery, and comprises stock held in our secure business continuity facilities either for your dedicated use or available as a syndicated service.

Mobile recovery (HGV to site)

Serving as mobile command centres, our 40ft trailers deliver a data centre with on-board generator and UPS comprising high-performance equipment (preconfigured to your server, storage, and desktop requirements) for secure on-site data processing and rapid recovery. The trailers also provide your IT team or other staff, with a place to work from during the recovery period. Our diverse fleet includes specialist technology platforms and with some options pre-configured, we can get your kit on the road fast.

Isolated recovery environment

When it comes to ransomware, traditional backups aren’t always enough. Cyber criminals are getting smarter, hiding in systems for months and waiting for the perfect time to strike.

We can provide you with an isolated recovery environment (IRE), which scans your backups, identifies clean restore points, and keeps threats isolated, delivering unparalleled security.

In case of an incident, the IRE acts like a “clean room” where administrators can recover data securely, without risking reinfection. Before any restored data is reconnected to the main systems, it’s checked to ensure it’s clean, adding an extra layer of security and confidence in the recovery process.

Why an isolated recovery environment matters

Without the protection of an IRE, organisations risk reintroducing threats back into their network during the recovery process. This “hidden reinfection” can leave you stuck in a cycle of endless recovery attempts, each one costing valuable time and resources. An isolated environment provides a secure space to verify data integrity and, if needed, start afresh with clean data.

ITDR rehearsals

Included in your contract but also available for you to schedule additionally at any time, we recommend regular testing to ensure that when you need to use your plan, you know it will work and that everything will be as you expect and need it to be. In an invocation scenario, you will be under pressure to report to the board on progress every step of the way and have a multitude of things to deal with –but you can take it all in your stride if you already know that you can execute your plan with confidence.
