Some Android devices will require some extra settings being selected when you connect to the Dot11 Wi-Fi
If you're trying to connect an Android device to the Dot11 Wi-Fi, you may need to update some extra settings.
For most Android devices, these are the steps you'll need to follow.
- Go to "Settings" then select "Wireless & Networks" and "Wi-Fi settings".
- If Wi-Fi is not enabled, please enable it.
- Select the network.
- You may be asked for a password to protect the credential storage on your device. This is a security setting for your device and not your Wi-Fi password. Please enter a memorable password here to continue.
- For "EAP method" select "PEAP".
- For "Phase 2 authentication" select "None".
- For "CA Certificate" select "Do not validate" or if this isn't an option, choose the trust certificate option.
- Enter your Identity as your Dot11 username - usually your email address
- Some devices may have an "Anonymous identity" field. Leave this blank.
- Enter your Wi-Fi "Password".
- Confirm.
If you're unable to connected after following these steps, please contact the support team.
